GET YOUR MONKEY OFF MY DOG

In the evening when the working folks are leaving all the problems of the job behind,
I go to the park

with Costello. He's a fellow that's so mellow, he's the sweetest dog you'd ever find,
walking in the dark

Now Mickey's monkey, she's so funky, she's a junky, she's a trouble making,
taunting hairy ape;
She makes Costello bark.

Why do you bring that ugly monkey out in public? She should be in a cage....
Get your monkey off my dog! Get your monkey off my dog!

Bocce bowlers, baby strollers, even Rasta rollers watchin' as they tussle
and they tangle, while you're talkin' on your phone

Like Chewbaca, that macaca, you should walk her with a muzzle on a lengthy
leather leash, leave my dog alone

Get a parrot or a ferret if you gotta come and share it... Give back
Costello's bone!

Why do you bring that ugly monkey out in public? She should be in a cage....

Get your monkey off my dog! Get your monkey off my dog!
